30/1

The beautiful creature, who's been keeping me company.

Cristel, Mar and me, trying to stay up.

So I feel like crap, I've been here a week now and it's as beautiful as ever, spring is starting to peak through the winter and the sun is keeping me company longer and longer each night, but I'm stuck inside with the flu, and it sucks!
Despite me being sick, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go ice skating yesterday! I've only ever done it once before and it was in an arena in Albury with artifical ice, and after a bit of falling over I remember being quite good. But here on the frozen lake with no rail or anything I absolutely sucked! I was terrible I had no balance what so ever, and my feet were killing so I sadly had to give up before I got the hang of it. Hopefully I'll get to try again before Spring comes.
Today we were meant to go skiing too, but I'm exhausted and I've pretty much just been in bed all day, so the skiing will have to wait for Wednesday when I go with the other exchanges, fingers crossed I'll be feeling better by then!

26/1

Yes, I am extremely touristy

On the right; Australia's average size coffee.
On the left; Swedens average size coffee. I LIKE!

An example of how everyone tells me Sweden wants to be America.
Happy Australia Day!
Not going to lie, this day makes me miss back home traditions like crazy. Still I wouldn't swap this adventure for anything!

Yesterday, I have to admit was an extremely crap morning, but it definately got better. Here in Norrköping they have, well I've been told, the best basketball team in Sweden and they win a lot of nationally games and have international players. And I got to go to a game, and it was so exciting 75/75 till literally the last 10seconds were the Norrkoping dolphins got a goal, and the whole stadium just errupted it was awesome!
So far my fika dates have been on the increase, and well what can I say I love it!

23.2

Flying somewhere over my dear Australia
Right before landing in the very underestimated Bangkok

Be being Jesus and well, standing on water :)

So I have now spent two lovely days in Sweden. And my oh my was it a long trip here. Till yesterday I hadn't slept for 48hours so I was in bed sound asleep by like 6pm! but it seemed so so much later, it also maybe has something to do with the fact that it is dark from 3pm!
Everything is so different here, but yet I feel quite at home already, probably has a lot to do with that my host parents are really nice people.
I would write more about my trip here, but to be honest I am so exhausted, so I'm taking the easy way out and will illustrate it with a few pictures I have taken, mainly all through moving vehicles, so the aren't the greatest of quality...
